Why port days go sideways
A cruise is the one trip where the schedule belongs to someone else. The ship sails when it sails, and boarding opens and closes on the cruise line's clock, not yours. Add the drive down to Galveston, port-day traffic, and a trunk full of luggage for a week at sea, and a ride that felt like an afterthought becomes the part of the trip that decides whether you board relaxed or frantic.
Groups make it harder. Three families meeting at one house, a handful of guests flying into Houston the same morning, and one car that cannot hold all of them is a very common way to start a cruise already behind. Parking at the terminal is another cost and another chore after you step off the ship, tired and sunburned, and trying to remember where you left the car.
A chauffeured transfer removes those decisions. Someone else watches the road, someone else handles the bags at the curb, and nobody has to find a lot at the end of the week.
How the transfer runs
Impeccable Rideshare drives to and from the Galveston cruise terminals from a home, hotel, office or airport, whichever fits your trip. Book one way if you are being dropped at the port and handling the return another way, or book a round trip so the same service waits on both ends of the week. Rides are open to individuals, families and larger groups.
Call or text (832) 269-3796 with your sail date, the terminal or ship name, where the group is starting and how many people are riding. Shelly confirms a fixed rate by phone and plans the pickup time backward from your boarding window, leaving room for traffic instead of betting against it. If guests are arriving at the airport first, the ride can start there, and your flight is monitored by flight number the same way as any airport transfer.
The black SUV carries six to eight passengers with room for three to five full-size suitcases, which is the usual answer for a family. For bigger parties Shelly arranges additional vehicles, from Sprinter vans to larger coaches, so a whole guest list travels together instead of in a convoy.
Return day and booking terms
The ship docks and the whole week lands at once. Return-day pickups are best booked when you reserve the outbound ride, so the car is assigned to your date and your disembarkation, not found at the last minute. If your return plans shift, call or text and the pickup can be rescheduled, subject to availability.
To hold a cruise booking, a 50% deposit is required. The balance is due no later than one week before the scheduled service, and all payments, including deposits, are non-refundable. Car and booster seats for children are $75 per seat and need to be requested in advance. The ride itself is quoted by phone at a fixed rate, with no public price list.
If you are building a longer trip, the airport transfer and the port transfer can be quoted together in one call. Shelly answers the line around the clock, so a late-night question about boarding day is never a problem.
